Advertising Bulletin - Notice of Release
The Motor Dealer Council of British Columbia (MDC) has established Advertising Guidelines to provide motor dealers with a comprehensive and plain language description of the legislative and policy requirements for advertising motor vehicles. Motor Dealers are required to comply with the guidelines as a condition of licensing.
Advertising Bulletins are published as required to provide notice of updates to MDC policies on enforcing the Advertising Guidelines. Where required, the guidelines will be amended to reflect the information in an Advertising Bulletin and an updated version of the guidelines will be immediately available.
After reviewing the following bulletin(s), the MDC recommends that motor dealers attach the bulletins as a reference to their copy of the Advertising Guidelines and make notes of any changes on the affected portions of the guidelines. Alternatively, motor dealers should download the updated version of the guidelines.
