• Salesperson applied for renewal of his salesperson license.
• Salesperson had recently pled guilty to nine counts of fraud.
• VSA investigation noted he had been disciplined by another regulatory agency.
• Salesperson found to have falsified his application to the VSA regarding criminal investigation and prior regulatory discipline.

OUTCOME:

• Salesperson application for renewal of his license was refused.
• Conduct of the salesperson required barring any consideration for a license for 5 years.
