MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: BOBBY PRASAD (Salesperson #108785)
ISSUE:
- The salesperson was called to a hearing before the Registrar of Motor Dealers to review his Salesperson Licence application.
OUTCOME:
- The Registrar’s decision was that he be granted a six month conditional licence.
- The following conditions on the licence must be cleared before a regular licence can be issued; registration for the mandatory VSA Salesperson Certification Course; passing grade of 75% must be achieved within the conditional licensing period or his Conditional Licence will expire and he will not be eligible to work in retail vehicle sales until he achieves a passing grade; he must be in good standing with the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority; he must not handle consumer money unless taking a deposit which must be immediately given to a supervisor; he must not hold a management position at the dealership; he must advise any new employer of past history; and he must contact the VSA in six months to have his salesperson licence reviewed by the Manager of Licensing.
