MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: CORDEN AUTO SALES (Dealer #18814) AND RICHARD GLEN CORDEN (Salesperson #103949)

ISSUE:

• Dealership was called to a hearing for infractions under section 5(1) of the BPCPA S.B.C. 2004 c.2
• Salesperson was called to a hearing for infractions under section 5(1) of the BPCPA S.B.C. 2004 c.2

OUTCOME:

• Both dealership and salesperson licences were suspended at the April 15, 2009 hearing.
• At the July 15, 2009 hearing, the Registrar imposed the following conditions; Dealer to pay the hearing and investigation costs of $402.20; Dealer must provide the last 2 years of dealership records to Mike Dorran, Compliance Officer for inspection; The Salesperson Certification Course Level II to be taken.
