ISSUE:

  • Working without a valid salesperson licence and multiple issues

OUTCOME:

  • Considerable confusion concerning licence application, criminal record check and comprehension of the rules concerning consignment sales.
  • Formal hearing required.
  • Ordered to take the Salesperson Certification Course again.
  • Mr. Marsden eventually completed the course, paid for backdated licences and all requirements.
  • Paid an administrative assessment of $500, GST, the course fees and licences fees, combining to total $1,265.
