MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: VICTOR MORGULIS (Not Licensed)
ISSUE:
- Applicant did not fully complete Motor Vehicle Sales Authority (“VSA”) application by failing to provide prior work history. An investigation to obtain that history was triggered.
- Applicant was previously a licensed salesperson in Ontario for many years and had disregarded directions of the Ontario regulatory authority.
- Applicant had a criminal conviction for threats of violence and treated VSA staff in a rude and threatening manner during application process.
- Applicant had violated court imposed restraining orders and other orders. He had spent 60 days in jail for such violations
OUTCOME:
- The VSA was concerned for the safety of consumers, co-workers and VSA staff in any future dealings with the applicant.
- The VSA was concerned applicant would not abide by the law and directions of the VSA and thus not maintain the minimum standards of conduct and care required of a licensed B.C. salesperson.
- Application to be licensed was refused.
