MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: PIERRE BARIC (Salesperson #106915)
ISSUE:
- A review of the salesperson license of Pierre Baric
- Information about a criminal record came to the attention of the VSA which was not declared by Mr. Baric on his licensing applications and renewal applications.
- There was also concern about Mr. Baric’s aggressive conduct while interacting with VSA staff at its office and reports of similar conduct with dealership employees.
OUTCOME:
- Mr. Baric’s Criminal record was not in relation to his occupation and not grounds to cancel his license: Section 14 B.C. Human Rights Code.
- The Registrar accepted Mr. Baric’s reasons for failing to declare the criminal record.
- The Registrar had concerns about Mr. Baric’s aggressive conduct with staff and dealership employee’s.
- Mr. Baric was directed to take anger management courses and advise the Manager of Licensing of his efforts within 30 days.
- Mr. Baric was advised to make proper declarations on his application renewals. Any future failure would be grounds to suspend or cancel his license.
- Mr. Baric’s license is to be reviewed in six months.
