MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: BAY CITY AUTO INC. dba BAY CITY KIA (Dealer #9677) AND GUISEPPE ABENANTE (Salesperson #107784)

ISSUE:

• Operating with 12 unlicensed salespeople at the dealership

OUTCOME:

• The Registrar imposed an administrative assessment of $500 for each
• The dealership paid $6,000 and brought all salespeople into compliance
• As dealer principal, Guiseppe Abenante was assessed $350 for the costs of the proceedings, late fees on his own licence and renewal fees, a total of $800.
