MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: BURRARD AUTOMOTIVE LEASE INC. (Dealer #10686) AND JEFF HOLLANDS (Salesperson # 106855)

ISSUE:

• Dealership was called to a hearing for infractions under section 5(1) of the BPCPA S.B.C. 2004 c. 2 and failing to occupy the business premises as required under section 11 of the Motor Dealer Act.
• Salesperson was called to a hearing before the Registrar, pursuant to sections 6 and 7 of the Salesperson Licensing Regulation to review his salesperson licence application.
• The dealer and the salesperson did not attend the May 27th hearing.

OUTCOME:

• With respect to the dealership - adjourned sine die and to be re-opened only in the event of another consumer complaint.
• With respect to the salesperson – adjourned sine die and to be re-opened only in the event of another consumer complaint.
