MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: TRU NORTHWEST RV, AUTO & MARINE LTD. (Dealer #30636) AND GAIL GIESE (Salesperson #109062)

ISSUE:

• Dealership was called to a hearing before the Registrar of Motor Dealers for infractions under the Motor Dealer Act and the BPCPA. This hearing was combined with the hearing case of Gail Giese (SP #109062) who was called to a hearing for infractions under the Motor Dealer Act and the BPCPA.

OUTCOME:

• Registrar’s decision was that a condition be placed on the Motor Dealer Licence in which the Dealer may not conduct consignment sales and that the dealer may apply to VSA for consignment sales one year from the hearing date.
• Allegations under BPCPA were stayed.
