MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: MANOOCHEHR SAHAMI (Salesperson #104068)

ISSUE:

• Pursuant to Sections 5 and 6 of the Salesperson Licensing Regulation of the Motor Dealer Act, the salesperson was called to a hearing before the Registrar of Motor Dealers on November 30, 2007 to review his salesperson licence application. Salesperson was to appear again before the Registrar with his current employer Advance Auto Sales Ltd. (DL #23930) in order for dealership to take responsibility for Mr. Sahami while he works as a Salesperson.
• Continuation of hearing from November 30, 2007 held on December 20, 2007. Salesperson to appear before the Registrar of Motor Dealers with employer who is now Super Choice Auto Ltd. (DL #25163).
• Continuation of hearing from December 20, 2007, held on January 30, 2008. Salesperson was to appear with owner of Super Choice Auto Ltd. (DL #25163).

OUTCOME:

• Registrar’s decision at the November 30, 2007 hearing was to adjourn hearing until December 20, 2007 at which time Mr. Sahami would appear with owner of Advance Auto Sales (DL #23930)
• Registrar’s decision at the December 20, 2007 hearing was to adjourn hearing until January 30, 2008 where Mr. Sahami will appear before him along with the owner of Super Choice Auto Ltd. (DL #25163) in order for dealership to take responsibly for Mr. Sahami while he works as a Salesperson. Mr. Sahami’s Conditional Licence was extended until January 30, 2008.
• Registrar's decision at the January 30, 2008 hearing was to cancel the Conditional Licence and deny the Salesperson Licence of Manoochehr Sahami.
