MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: SPRING AUTO SALES LTD. (Dealer #30112)

ISSUE:

• Dealership was called to a hearing before the Registrar of Motor Dealers for infractions under the Motor Dealer Act and the BPCPA.
• Continuation of December 20, 2007 hearing was held on January 30, 2008.

OUTCOME:

• Registrar’s decision at the December 20, 2007 hearing was that the hearing be adjourned until January 30, 2008 for the dealership’s lawyer to properly prepare. Copies of the hearing exhibits were to be forwarded to the Dealership’s lawyer.
• Registrar’s decision at the January 30, 2008 hearing was that the Dealership be instructed to take back the vehicle and compensate the consumer all expenses. The Dealership is further instructed to pay hearing and investigation costs related to this matter subject to the Administrative Penalty Notice.
