MOTOR DEALER and/or SALESPERSON: BC DEALERS’ TRADE-IN CENTRE (Dealer #26220) AND GERALD ALEXANDER DAVIDSON (Salesperson #101560) AND KEITH PHILIP DURANT (Salesperson #101561)

ISSUE:

• Dealership was called to a hearing before the Registrar of Motor Dealers for infractions under the Motor Dealer Act and the BPCPA. This hearing was combined with the hearing cases of Gerald Alexander Davidson (SP #101560) and Keith Philip Durant (SP #101561) who were both called to a hearing for infractions under the Motor Dealer Act and the BPCPA.

OUTCOME:

• Registrar’s decision was that the dealership reimburses consumers and pays an administrative penalty of $1,000.00 plus investigation costs subject to the Administrative Penalty Notice.
