The VSA Salesperson Certification Course is the approved course required to obtain a Sales Person Licence. This course was formerly known as the MDC Certified Sales Professional Course.

All registrations are processed through the VSA office. Effective March 1, 2007, only registrations on our revised form are accepted and processed.

Some quick facts about the course:

• Two days in length - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day
• Cost - $420.00 per person
• A pre-course mailing includes an assignment that is due at the start of the first day of class.
• Homework, on the evening of the first day of class, and post-course work are also required.
• The course concludes with an open-book final exam at the end of the second day. Picture ID will be required in order to write the exam.
• Participants must attend and complete the full course program to be eligible to write the final exam.
• The final mark is based on pre- and post-course work, home work, in class participation and the final exam. Participants must successfully complete all of these components, with an overall grade of 75%, to pass the course.
• Participants will receive a certificate of completion or a letter from the VSA notifying them of a fail within 30 days of completion. Individual marks will not be released.
• Cancellations – each registered person will be responsible for full payment of all confirmed registration fees unless the VSA receives written notice of cancellation at least ten business days prior to the start of the class.
• Substitutions – may only be made up to 72 hours prior to the class start time. Facilitators will not take registrations or make substitutions at the class.
• The VSA requires full payment by credit card or cheque prior to confirming course registration for all participants. Please see course registration form for details.
